Jesse Pinkman 4,660
So, I heard this on the radio a few times and it's so interesting how different it was from 'Habits,' which was a radio hit. Despite me liking 'Habits' and Tove Lo in general, I'm glad radio is playing this song because it sends a much more positive message. Instead of staying high in order to feel adequate following a breakup, she'd whether play with her hoo-ha and scream her own name. Much better message imo. And again, I like Tove Lo, and 'Habits' is a great song as well, but I'm just glad that radio picked this up in addition. It's science, bitch
Paper Gangsta 6,693
It's not that radio picked it because of the song itself but she was feaured in some thing where new artists are being overplayed

Regardless of the intention, I like the message of the song and I'm glad radio is playing it. It's science, bitch

Jesse Pinkman 4,660
This is cute! I don't really understand the Habits comparison but it's a cute songWell because in this songs she realizes that she doesn't need a man; she just needs to love herself following her breakup. In 'Habits,' Tove Lo is saying that she needs d--gs and whatever else to get over ha ex. At least that's what I took from the song lol It's science, bitch

There's a lot of songs that sound like polar opposites.
DrewStevens 5,249
A friend of mine ruined this song for me. He says it's about masturbation and the worst part is that his theory makes sense

Tove Lo 2,481
Gurl, I'm pretty sure the point of Habits is supposed be that staying high and all that really doesn't help, this song is about something that does help. Two different sides, no need to drag the other one down that is saying that doing a certain thing doesn't actually help. hop on that **** like a maniac

retroglamx 5,099
Habits is amazing and honest and raw and it's beyond comparisons. Pink flamingos always fascinated me.
Tove Lo 2,481
Interesting POV. Never thought of it that way.I always took it that way because of the crying scene in the music video/the song being put into "The Pain" section of Queen of the Clouds. After the breakup she felt like she needed to be high or having s-x the entire time to be happy but then once she's not anymore, she's sad and misses the guy. So then she continues doing that stuff so she doesn't think about it. Basically she's telling the story on what she did but she also implies that it never really helped. idk if I'm making sense. lol hop on that **** like a maniac
