The symbolism, the references, the costumes, the music, the script, the characters, the wit AND MOST OF ALL LADY GAGA OMFG! Its my birthday and that was the best f***ing present ever! Take my blood! That s-x scene was everything! Gaga in that scene! Every scene! The way she commanded fear in the place and every character was so subtle and poetic!Gaga's voice!Gaga's debut acting that really she has always incorporated into her art!Gaga really was amazing, not just being biased. I am more than happy to wait for LG5! Everything she has done this year is with a confidence she had lost and has now regained!MY BIRTHDAY HAS BEEN MADE! Its everywhere and its so clever! The exploration of the main themes, I really love the idea of piercing skin and diff types of addiction. Whether it be piercing with a needled or the claw etc The d--g for the addicts is like the claw that Gaga and her man use! Also the lens and the camera work is just perfect! Solitaire 902 Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 I found it interesting how in the room where Iris had the girls locked up and was going to feed them and "cleanse" them, the neon sign in the back of the room said "I will love you to death", when Iris is literally just attempting to make them healthy so Gaga can come and kill them.Not 100% sure what that really means in the whole context of the show yet, but I loved the concept of almost a twisted mother caring so much for her "children" that they end up dying or something along those lines. - Previously Sycothisis Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I feel like Elizabeth needed henchmen and she found them in Donovan, Iris and Sally. She probably told Iris that she could revive her son and keep him from dying if she (Iris) would stay and work for her, she then turned Donovan into a vampire, and not knowing the "vampire" world, he'd rely on Gaga to teach him how to survive and thus is reliant on her. Sally, if she is a ghost, is stuck in the hotel. Not sure how Elizabeth would have any power over Sally but it's obvious she does.
