Immigrants come on top of that. the US is not taking many refugees. Yes, the US takes in that many immigrants. (Edit: didn't mean refugees) That includes people running from war, horrible conditions, danger due to their religious beliefs and extreme poverty. Did she not know that it would take housing and resources to accomadate that many people coming without jobs or money? The situation in Germany is created by Merkel and the government. I understand why Europe is fragmented and I agree that it doesn't make sense. Counties are very different from states in a country. In a country, states experience the same wars, law changes, leaders, national tragedies, economic trends together...so a single governing body and general set of laws will work. Europe has too many countries with their own unique history to join together and let one government dictate what all the countries need to do. Melech 9,900 Posted October 8, 2015 Author Share Posted October 8, 2015 I expect from every refugee a civilised behaviour towards every other refugee or German citizen - especially, if these people have a different background, f. e. ethnicity, religion or s-xuality - inside and outside of the camps. Moreover I await a respectful behaviour towards all of the volunteers and full-time personnel working for the refugees inside of the camps, especially towards social workers, police officers, paramedics and emergency physicians. There is absolutely no excuse for any riot, punchfest, rape, burglary, robbery, assault or insult. All of these criminal refugees have to be brought to justice. Zero tolerance! Their psychological situation is just not perfect. They are totally traumatized.
