I love Madge, but her and her team are clearly in the wrong here. That user saying that she shouldn't search for the original author of the image Of course they have to, that's how these things work. And especially if it is for an event like a worldwide tour. The people in this thread are so so so so so so stan goggled blind

Or is this question of human mistake and as soon as Madonna's team heard, they compensated HIM, hence its been removed. Noones legal team can just remove something like this. By your other essay, the last paragraph of this reply and the way you were contradicting every single person that had something negative to say about the Rebel Heart tour or simply said they didn't like it, I take it your a Madonna fan. The artist tried to get in contact with her team and people commented in the original posts about how she was "stealing" the art. The one who did not do the due diligence here is Madonna's team. Even if she doesn't profit from the backdrop, the classy thing to do would have been to credit the artist of the original piece or acknowledge her existence. The entrances were by submission, okay. But it's obvious they combed through the applications, or else they would have wound up with ****ty art or whatever up on that screen. It was up to the people who did the selection to veto and go through the images to find if they belonged to someone or were, like in this case, taken from the author without her authorization. That's just inexcusable and it's like, the first thing you do with that kind of thing.

and how do we not know this was not done? Like I said, where did The OP artist post go? Is it possible they made a mistake and trusted The one who submitted The picture to have rights or rights under quotation for The picture?  Then find out that they made a mistake and then compensated The artist. Or The artist is lying about The situation? ALL these are possible! 

MoMost likely its a case of misunderstanding and now has been resolved. End of case. Noone is stealing anything at least on purpose. I cant understand why everyone jumps The gun and presume malice.

Btw using quotation right to make montages is a everyday thing and you don't EVER see credits is every single pic. This happens every day everywhere. Why on earth ppl are attacking M now?? She like millions others do this...
