If anything, I feel like Demi and Selena are doing their versions of the Britney/Christina rivalry for who can do the 'girl next door gone bad' thing.

Like both pairs started out with their bubblegum images and then ended up with eras trying to play down that image for a s-xier, more seductive look. In my opinion Selena pulls it off so much better than Demi, it feels so forced and calculated.

She'll probably try something similar since this whole era has been a more forced and less successful re-hash of Bangerz so far, pretty much. Nothing she'll do will come close to any of the impact Miley had in 2013, though. She just doesn't have a place in pop culture nor does she have an audience big enough.

Well, that would make sense I guess. I was wondering why people were getting so uptight about nudity in 2015, but I forget that a lot of the people I mentioned were former Disney stars or had squeaky clean pop images at their debut. Was Demi from Disney originally?
