Economy 52,843 Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 the defend yourself argument is dumb... a criminal is probably faster and more skilled with a gun than most people so guess what... if you pull out a gun you are now a bigger threat to the criminal and hes more likely to harm you because he sees u as a threat on the otherhand if ur helpless, often theifs and robbers will take what they want but wont actually shoot the person if a citizen is gonna get into a gun war with a criminal hes probably gonna loose Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

They aren't all well-dressed Eastern European men driving black Mercedes SUVs, what is this? i dont get this at all anything u do for a living your going to be above average over normal people a thief, a gang member or someone involved in crime regularly will have more skills generally at potential confrontations... it would be stuff they anticipate often or have dealt with at some point smart one A regular average jo will have very low skills with guns or confronting people... so if you try to be aggressive in self-defence you might ultimately make it worse for yourself its a different story if its someone commiting a crime in an isolated incident.
