Gaga is being billed as the star of Hotel. FX is using her name to promote the show. It makes sense that her performance would be the focus of most reviews. This critic isn't being overly negative, they said Gaga was talented, just not at acting. They praised the show itself. This isn't a hater. 

The first review being negative isn't a great sign, and it sucks, but lets act like a bunch of teenagers and pretend it's unfair.

C'mon, guys If he hadn't seen the episode and wanted to be nasty about Gaga for the hell of it, I'm sure he'd be more harsh than "it’s obvious acting just isn’t one of her many talents."

Not that I agree as I havent seen the episode, but not all reviews are or have to be like that. Some are quick and to the point, like The Hollywood Reporter compared to an Entertainment Weekly review
