  1. 1. Do you think Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Are Becoming a One Hit Album Wonder?

    • Yes, the only reason this song has even reached the Top 20 is because of the hype of the last album.

This was released before Downtown for free on their site.

Are you being sarcastic? Is this really being played on radio? :rip:

The things straight people do, I swear.

I listened to Downtown for the first time yesterday and it is basically Thrift Shop with new lyrics :air:

Listen to it again, it doesn't sound like Thrift Shop sis..

How funny that you brought Lorde into this when your icon is a One Direction rejection, who apparently have released more than one album but I doubt anyone knows about them? What are their titles? Best Song Ever and The Ha Ha song?

How is milking white 12 year old girls any form of success? You know, at least Lorde has a #1 song and is not a manufuctred product without any talent for music and has brought something new to the music scene.

The problem with Downtown is that it has too many lyrics and is too busy. :saladga:

Can't Hold Us, Thrift Shop, and Same Love are masterpieces. I'm not even a fan (I don't own any of their albums or songs) but I can recognize greatness.

They aren't going anywhere imo.

Ofc

just like Carly Rae, Gotye, fun, Lorde etc... People think they are established cos they manage to have a second hit after their initial smash and decent album sales but after that ain't nobody checks for them. It happened to M&RL & will be the same for Sam

gaga and katy just got lucky

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

It sounds like nothing like Thrift Shop although the videos look alike.

Lyrically, I mean. Musically it is a blatant copy of Uptown Funk.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Downtown is gonna grow further on the chart and I personally think it'll hit top 10. I don't think they're over personally. They're very talented and with good promo and great music, they'll continue to be successful.
