There is a very high possibility that both will clash each other

But I have a feeling Gaga will outdo her in every aspect

I don't even like Adele but I admit she can't be beaten, everyone's way too far up her ass.

Based on publicity, Gaga will definitely win the media war.

But remember Adele's whole schtick is being the Anti-Gaga.

She has a much wider audience because she isn't polarizing or controversial.

She's going to sell more albums, guaranteed.

You're seriously underestimating Gaga.

I'd rather be impressed than disappointed, it has nothing to do with Gaga. But let's not forget how bad ARTPOP did despite being her best album to date. Numbers usually have nothing to do with quality and everyone will buy Adele's album even if it's a compilation of farts.

I think she'll pull at least 2 #1 singles as well as many more T10s

I think Gaga's gonna take back her streaming power

With Gaga's year... They are either on the same level, or Gaga is higher, because she's more fresh than Adele right now.

People act like Adele is invincible. She could easily flop, especially considering that people have super high expectations for her. People like Adele because she relies on pure talent, but people are starting to realize that Gaga actually has talent and isn't just a gimmick. I think for this reason she could play Adele's game, plus a lot more. She has a great voice, plus a lot more that Adele doesn't have. Idk though, we will see what happens :adam:

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

I have much faith in her but that doesn't mean I'm going to be disappointed when she doesn't beat Adele. I think it's kind of unhealthy when fans don't show initial support for her and I'm not saying just because we are fans we have to blindly applaud everything she does, I said that because she deserves it, she has shown us true talent and what she is capable of.

ARTPOP is indeed one of her greatest albums produced but the underperformance originated from the lack of promotion. It's not like she performed G.U.Y. at the Grammys and Brits and still flopped, this is the real danger (no offence but Living for Love was performed at both award shows and didn't chart on Hot 100 at all while We Found Love, What's My Name?, Only Girl and Dark Horse all went to #1 after having received the same treatment). Do What U Want achieved moderate success but remember it lacked a music video. So there's no reason to believe that she's not able to do well commercially for LG5, since she sort of promised us sufficient promotion for her future albums after launching Cheek to Cheek.

But Adele doesn't have a huge fanbase like One Direction or Justin Bieber does. Her success from 21 came largely from the GP. She lost a majority of her fan-voted awards and only won in technical fields. So perhaps Gaga should really care about the GP this time.

At the end of the day, the GP pays the bills. Just because I don't think Gaga will sell millions or whatever doesn't mean I won't support it. I thought the same of ARTPOP and it doesn't mean I didn't support it.

I just think you all are focusing way too much on how albums do commercially. Yes, it matters but I just don't really care. Of course I'll be happy if she does sell millions but it's not about that.
