Do you guys really think Funk The Punk is Gaga's new single?

I of course have my doubts on whether we'll get any song tomorrow but it's also just really fun to be excited with Gaga fans. Speculation isn't a bad thing if you have enough grounds to back up your claim, and I think this time around, we could be really close to something. So maybe I'm 50/50 on believing that something big will actually happen. Time will tell.

Imagine this right- she releases the song now and it BLOWS UP! like smashes... she rules the charts once again and proves to everyone she isn't a flop! That she was going through metamorphosis and becoming herself again.

tbh, it wouldn't be smart. She's about to get lots of promo/buzz from AHS; releasing a single right now would kill her momentum. But, if she release the lead single right after AHS end aka late January, early February (and perform it at the Grammys ) it success would be almost assured

I think best case scenario is it's Chic's new single (Nile Rodger's band) and she is featured on it.

I'm not at all sure that it's the case, but I'm hoping so because it would be new music. I don't think that she would be releasing anything from LG5 atm.

I think it is. She had a past of releasing songs through fashion shows and the style of the music in the clip sounds like the work of the producers she has talked about working with. 

 

I also think it'd be wise of her to release now because a) nothing else is going on in the music world b) the world is on her side/watching her right now and she is about to get more press for ahs

Adele (who had the biggest album sales of anyone this decade with her last album) is releasing really soon. I don't think it would be wise for Gaga to try and compete with that once again.
