Emvee 8,868
Not just black people, all poor people with entitlements .... But hes really not wrong. Nothing is free. In case you didn't know, poor people pay taxes too. Income taxes, sales taxes, etc., which make up big percentages of lower to middle class wages. But, you, in your sheltered little mind believe all poor people stay at home to do d--gs and buy pizzas with their ebt cards. News flash, the vast majority of underprivileged Americans bust their asses to earn a non-living minimum wage. Wealth inequality is a real thing and it's due to a stew of bad calls by republicans and democrats alike since the 80's... Not because poor people are lazy as you would prefer to believe. ---- I'm so sick of of the Republican Party trying to spin social democracy as an evil plot to take the average American's taxes. Um, no, the point is to get the super rich to finally start paying their fair share and do away with this archaic notion that billionaires find it in their moral, altruistic hearts to trickle down their wealth. Even Warren buffet, for crying out loud, believes the billionaire class should pay more taxes. After all the free education you get, which some people around the world would die to receive, is paid for by the government through taxes. Stop demonizing public institutions as of you've never gained from them.

DrewStevens 5,249
Both, Republicans and Democrats, lure voters but saying that Democrats lure African-American voters by offering free stuff in response of why do Republican candidates get less votes from them is stupid and offensive. First of all because it's like saying that African-American voters in general need free stuff and are unable to decide by themselves. The reason why Democrats get most African-American voters is not because Democrats are good, it's because a lot of Republican candidates have shown their racism multiple times and most racist people support them.Little remainder to the Little Republicans.Once a republican voter-drive organizer said "That's why we put up hundreds of brightly colored banners featuring Martin Luther King Jr.". That's how it works right? You use Martin Luther King and the black people fall for it. Smh.

And like most poor people when it comes to income taxes I get a refund at the end of the year. so don't BS me on Poor people paying income taxes. But side note I live in the ghetto next too public housing (because I don't even qualify for it cause I don't make enough money). You would be surprised how many flat screen tv boxes, and d--g dealers I see walking too and from work in the morning. So yea Your a FU**ING FOOOL! Im actually a political science major who loves to talk politics however you deserve no attention beyond this post from me because your a bleeding heart liberal who takes low blows to make there point. Also they don't have to pay a cent in sales tax if they qualify for things such as food stamps. If you are receiving welfare you effectively pay no taxes. That's the story. Most people, including poor people, pay payroll taxes like social security and Medicare. I know income taxes are a separate thing, but poor people do pay into the system one way or another. Food stamps do not account for everything that is purchased by a poor person to sustain a lifestyle such as cleaning supplies, paper products, and toiletries. Not to mention that poor people do in fact still buy cars, use public infrastructure, eat at restaurants, and feed their local economies despite the fact that people condemn them for wanting to live a "normal" life. And the 12 million undocumented immigrants (many who are below the poverty line) that Americans complain about so much? They pay all of the taxes above minus the income tax and they'll never see a dime of it, effectively contributing more to the economy than they take out. That's the story, buddy. LOL if you think sales tax even comes close to income tax or if that they are even comparable I do not care to engage in a real life conversation with someone who obviously has no real life experience. And bud, don't try to make the straw man argument that illegal workers help the economy. They drive down wages for everybody. Isn't increased wages for people doing unskilled labor something you liberals cry about all the time? HA. Lastly, if they wanted to collect on social security they should have entered the country legally like my grandparents. Sorry, you'll get no sympathy from me for these CRIMINALS. The delusion is reeeaaal.... Poor people don't pay income taxes because they live pay check to pay check. They can't afford to pay the government more. They will lose their livelihoods. How does this not even click for you? The simple solution to this is to raise the minimum wage and get people off of welfare programs and prevent employers from giving tragic wages. The only thing people like Jeb Bush do is shame welfare recipients for not getting paid enough and propose tax cuts for corporations, which will NEVER benefit employees unless the economy creates demand for that corporation's product/service. You stimulate the economy by enlarging the pockets of COMSUMERS, not corporations. But, I get it. You're a conservative. Enjoy your bubble. And **** off with that "criminal" comment. Lmaocorporations make jobs bud, not the government. The government sucks (SUCKS) at making jobs. If you allow a corporation to have more revenue, it invests it on itself. It increases productivity (which is something that has lagged this last decade) by investing in new technology and this increases works' wages naturally. If you force a corporation to start paying their bottom line employees more they MUST start making cuts, and that's usually in the form of firing existing employees, not hiring future ones, and/or replacing them with machines. This economy is not one big tax hike away from recovery, and it's delusional to think such a thing. This country's backbone IS corporations and the wealthy. They are the job creators, so you should really stop demonizing them and take a few higher classes in economics. Any professor would tell you such. Edit: I'd like to state two things for the record btw. The minimum wage was NEVER meant to be a living wage. That's ridiculous to twist it into such a thing. Second, I'm definitely my a conservative. I just detest the blind and ignorant members in my party that don't understand basic economic profiles and like to pretend to live in a world where the "simple solution" to poverty is to just wave a magic wand and force companies to pay workers more and pretend it has no negative aid effect.
