She brought her to Sydney at Townhall Maybe she holds a mermaid grudge now seeing as she ripped off the mermaids head at the Swinefest haha. Shes all like hes my man! The original story of the video was beautiful (and we had some images as well as audition links here going around at the time). But, Gaga later said (months after) that she did a simple video last minute since Clarence was sick (whom passed away two days after the video's release). Some people like to say the whole 'Gaga and the director had creative differences' thing, but I feel she meant this genuinely. She was very sad when he passed. I think it was sweet that she did that! What a lovely ode to him tbh! And I love how the edge of glory video turned out. The simplicity is beautiful!
