Nicole 1,809 Posted September 24, 2015 Share Posted September 24, 2015 Tbh there were a lot of cringeworthy moments - the acting isn't great and some of the scenes were just not good, but for me at least, the light-heartedness of it is why I actually loved it. All of the tv shows I watch are crime/thriller/horror/really dark and it's nice to have some of those elements but still have a strong presence of humour. I don't think this show is meant to be taken as seriously as AHS or other thriller shows. I'd compare it to shows that are kind of a parody and poking fun at horror elements (such as when the security guard said the girl was crazy to be going upstairs to where the murderer was, aka doing what a helpless girl does in every horror movie lol) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actually, I found it to be pretty funny and entertaining. Ariana's death scene had me rolling. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride with this one and take it for what it is. Like I wasted 2 hours out of my privileged wealthy white life to watch this and it ended up being trash the best is people trying to defend Chanel's racism. Her being a racist twat adds nothing to her character. She's hateful to be hateful. And the gruesome scenes were both funny and sick. The maid getting her face fried off was pure awesomeness. A deaf Taylor Swift fan was perfection and the way she got killed was hysterical. I do think 2 hrs was long but in reality what we saw were episodes 1 and 2 back to back. "Shantelle, Why you got a knife in your throat?!"
