I get what you're saying but people grow or change their outlook on things.  Gaga would go crazy trying to keep up with what she said a few years ago, just to ensure she doesn't contradict herself.  

Gaga shouldn't be crucified if her fans hold her to every single statement she makes and then changes her mind about what she previously said.  As fans, I think we should assume that if she stated one thing before, it's not intended to be written in stone.

I think Gaga is the only person who knows for real what does she really look like and what procedures she might have done. Pictures, makeup, wigs and accessories can be really tricky!

I never notice nose differences unless people point them out in threads like this. I think the newest photo has been altered by the press for some reason.

Yeah, sometimes our fellow Little Monsters forget that Gaga is human.  As people, we constantly change our minds so we shouldn't be attacked whenever we change our opinions or points of view on certain things.

Even if she did do something it was pretty minor.  I tend to believe it's mostly angles and lighting combined with sometimes photoshopping and sometimes not.  

If Gaga wanted to do something because SHE wanted it for herself, whatever her motivations, It's fine.   She doesn't have to be going against any core principle or even against the idea of unconventional beauty if she herself didn't like her nose the way it was.  For all we know it bugged her the way glasses fit on it or something.  It doesn't have to mean she capitulated to societal standards. And anyway, BTW was about self-reinvention as much as self-acceptance.

And really... Lady Gaga has always been a theatre piece.  She spelled it out herself numerous times but particularly with Jo Calderone and the Marry the Night video.  That doesn't mean she doesn't have legit core values.... her activism for the gay community and human rights has been constant.   But this fanbase get's itself in trouble many times by taking what Gaga has said at various times as gospel and then building a mental sculpture of what they think Gaga is, and then getting upset at her when she tries to break out of that image.

Sometimes, we see the bump and other times we don't see it. It's just so strange. Here are some recent pictures of her (Cheek to Cheek tour  this summer in NYC), where we CLEARLY see the bump. It's not possible she had a nose job since then because she was on tour / is filming AHS.
