It's a great gaga song, no doubt. But a classic... no. Pokerface and bad Romance will be the only lady Gaga classics (to date). Isn't she still referenced to some degree as "the bad Romance singer"?

I don't get this fan sites fascination with BTW as an album. It was ok, but nothing about it will live on, except the records BTW (SINGLE) broke, the madonna comparisons, and the amazon 99 cent deal.

hoI the **** is evryone forgetting Born This Way? Anyone would know that's a Gaga song and it topped the charts at #1 for four weeks on a row. Not to mention the egg arrival that promoted it. Lol

wasn't it 6 weeks?

Totally. It's one of her best songs for simply clicking with the public. People from all different tastes love that song. The rock community love it especially and have made covers of it. And I always say that if the rockers like a pop song that much, it's a sign that it's made an impact and is a true hit. It seems to be used as the background music for an introductory Gaga video or a contestant on a singing show covers it also. And this has been frequent since the four years that song came out. Sounds like a classic to me. It's one of her biggest songs to have survived in the public's consciousness, along with JD, Pokerface, BR, Telephone and BTW. Don't let the charts fool you - just because a song wasn't #1 everywhere doesn't mean it hasn't impacted. It's extremely rare to find someone who doesn't like the song. That tells you all you need to know.

Yes. It's the most recent Gaga song that most American radio stations still play of her if anything. They don't even play Born This Way anymore.

Sadly no... Nobody really knows The song outside fanbase. Great song though absolutely! One of My favs.

no one? I feel like a majority of people would definitely know this song. It's been featured on singing shows 50+ times

Where I live, it definitely was and still is. It was played on the radio very often in 2011-12 and it's the latest Gaga songs my local stations will even touch. They refuse to play Applause but they will gladly play TEOG. All of my friends who didn't follow Gaga knew it and enjoyed it.
