Here's the top five songs by lead female solo artists each year, since the start of the century. (They're posted in order from #1 to #5). Tracking periods go from mid-November of the prior year to mid November of the year stated. (i.e. For 2014, the tracking period is from November 2013 to November 2014. Its just how Billboard set it up). Also, its based on a songs performance in JUST that tracking period. So if you're saying to urself, "wait i thought Just Dance was more successful than Poker Face?" You're right!, overall it was, but inside those margins, Poker Face was more successful. Fun fact: 2004 was the year that was LEAST represented by women on the chart.

its the 9th biggest song of 2011 for lead females. 2011 was a big year for the women. Born This Way was the 18th biggest song in 2011 overall (in the US).
