Ugh, do we really need to talk about the "success" of this one? It's sobering, it's serious, it doesn't exist for profit. You really think Gaga wants this song to be a "smash hit"? Please, people. Let's not screw this up.

Well technically the more successful the song is, the more people will hear it.  The more who buy it, the more money that is raised.  It should be successful in terms of that but obviously not just to get a another Top 10 hit.
