In a recent interview for Rolling Stone, actor Terrence Howard stated that he as come up with a new form of math he calls "Terryology". "This is the last century that our children will ever have been taught that one times one is one. They won't have to grow up in ignorance."

Apparently, 1x1 should equal 2 because "If one times one equals one that means that two is of no value because one times itself has no effect. One times one equals two because the square root of four is two, so what's the square root of two? Should be one, but we're told it's two, and that cannot be.":saladga:

My favorite quote is "...why does a bubble take the shape of a ball? Why not a triangle or a square?":wtfga:

Here's the original interview: http://www.rollingstone.com/tv/news/terrence-howards-dangerous-mind-20150914

What do you think of this? Will you use Terryology?

well obviously a bubble can't be a square, it's three dimensional while a square is two dimensional.

The square root of 2 is not 2 :awkney:

In a lot of other ways, 1 has an effect in maths, for example 12+1=13 so yeah bye :awkney:

This reminds me of when Oprah reinvented math forever.
