Economy 52,861
http://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/a12172/prince-william-prince-harry-queen-elizabeth-90-birthday/ As her 90th birthday approaches, William and Harry have big plans in place for a massive street fair to mark the occasion in early June—a royal block party, if you will. According to People, the princes have already secured the venue: the Mall, Buckingham Palace's famed outdoor avenue running half a mile long. With over 10,000 people expected to attend, London is already referring to the event as the "largest street-party" the city will ever see. On the agenda for the weekend's festivities: a "service of thanksgiving" at St. Paul's Cathedral, followed by the Queen's annual birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, and even a "Patron's Lunch" honoring Elizabeth's charity work throughout her record-breaking reign. The best part, however, is most definitely the fact that any and all royal treatment comes courtesy of William and Harry. Because after all, what more could a grandmother want? AdAstra 2,649
It amazes me to think how much she's seen over the course of her 60+ year reign...the decline of the British Empire, World Wars, various U.S. presidents and primes ministers come and go. She's truly a walking time capsule and as an American have a great deal of respect for the Queen.
