If for example we discuss what kind of music we'd like on her next album, how she should promote her music or what she should wear to the Emmy awards, we are also getting really invested in her desicions. Yes, we don't know her well enough to speak on anything regarding her personal life and we are not all industry professionals to speak on her business decisions, but this forum was created to make us feel like we can, because without discussion it would be dead. And I think many people do feel she listens, because she has in the past. Yes, discussing future albums/fashion/projects is great and its healthy. It invites fun and conversation.I just think that it can turn ugly real fast when the topic turns to her personal decisions that we, really, have extremely limited information on. I'm just saying it's not that stange for fans on a forum to have an opinion on her desicions. I don't feel anyone on here really is trying to dictate her life.I wasn't responding to your OP.I responded to this comment:"If she has addiction problems she should seek for help and stay away from the spotlight and pump restaurant."That's an example of a fan trying to dictate her life...telling her where she should or shouldn't go and what she should do with her career. If the addict is an adult, it is up to them on when and HOW they choose to get help. Those decisions are theirs, and theirs alone. I do see now every instagram post has to include talking about cigarettes and people here were saying she's a "social smoker"....doesn't look like it to me...she's become an "everywhere and anytime smoker" and this worries me especially as she's supposed to be recording LG5 and soon start another album era with performances and then a WW tour I know she can do what she wants, but that doesn't mean it's what's best for her. She knows it's harmful to smoke and over drink, but she doesn't care and it is a serious addiction no matter how people want to downplay having a smoke here or there. If you have a feeling of needing it...you're an addict. I just hope she quits before it does even more damage and later on when she's Madonna's age she doesn't sound like Whitney trying to sing Sound of Music Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! She can do whatever she wants is just... Shouldn't be said that way, it should be "Leave her alone she cant help herself." because it's possible she doesn't want to smoke but she's just choosing to (recurring addiction?) Nicole 1,809 Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 It's fine to worry about Gaga, but what that innocent "I hope she stops soon" or "I wish she didn't smoke etc" turns into "she needs to stop its bad why does she still smoke does she not care about us or herself she's gonna ruin her voice she's an addict she needs to do this this and that" - that's acting like she's a 12yr old girl who has no knowledge of the effects of smoking. We're her fans, not her parents or Taylor Kinney. Am I worried about her? Sure, I don't want to her to develop any type of cancer down the road because of excessive smoking. What can we do about it, though? NOTHING. Gaga is an adult and knows what she's doing. Let's just let her be, please. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
