She is an artist. Smoke and drink is an artistic expression. I think it is kinda glamorous and elegant smoke a cigarette and drink whisky. But I'm worry about her health too, because I know it's dangerous. However, we have no power in her life so it's reductive spend your life saying she must stop smoking.

It's so hard to give up on addictions ... And Gaga always had ones. She was aneroxic and bullimic etc. too, then d--gs like MDMA, LSD, Cocaine - her Marihuana and injections phase in 2012/13, medication - it's like she can't give up smoking and drinking alcohol entirely, although I do believe she tries to live healthy too very often (eating- and exercising-wise), it's so difficult to give things up and especially a lot of smart, intelligent and creative people like artists can't give up such stuff and bad habits easily.

Let me repeat myself.

Apart from the health issue I just don't understand how can a singer be so STUPID to smoke and destroy their voice instead of protecting it. 

Her voice is the most important "tool" of her job, It's like a personal trainer eats 24/7 junk food and not workout.

Happens all the time...all the time! Lots of singers, past and present smoke, drink, smoke pot, era. Tony Bennett (who was at one time addicted to Cocaine) and Frank Sinatra smoked for years. They drank their whole adult life. Pink smoked up until she got pregnant (for over a decade) and that helped her kick the habit. All of these people have good vocals throughout their career. 

Her body, her voice, her choice, that's all!

No, Gaga should make her own decisions concerning any addiction issues. Those types of decisions are up to the individual with the struggle. It is her decision sync her time frame.

I'm not saying it's not her decision. I'm just saying it's not that stange for fans  on a forum to have an opinion on her desicions. I don't feel anyone on here really is trying to dictate her life.

True, but that's the whole idea of being on a forum. If for example we discuss what kind of music we'd like on her next album, how she should promote her music or what she should wear to the Emmy awards, we are also getting really invested in her desicions. Yes, we don't know her well enough to speak on anything regarding her personal life and we are not all industry professionals to speak on her business decisions, but this forum was created to make us feel like we can, because without discussion it would be dead. And I think many people do feel she listens, because she has in the past.

it is, tho. think of the interview in which gagz got so angry and explained that if she was a male, smoked, and talked about ****ing girls, people would call her a rockstar. so yes, calling these a form of artistic expression is valid.
