Open the same thread about the same subject every couple of months...Right? That would be okay? The threads wouldn't get closed? In the Entertainment Talk section, right? 

This is why we made the Entertainment Talk section- so people could talk about non-news related celebrity things and not be confined to just the artist's thread. That's a huge reason why those kinds of threads would have been closed in the past- those conversations were supposed to be in the artist's thread. Now we have a section for general non-news conversations about celebrities. 

 

Kayla, this topic has been beaten to death. Every few days/weeks we discuss Gaga's weight, the bump on her nose - which we use to question her integrity and sincerity towards her fans, her lip injections etc. The title of this thread alone is rude.

Of course other artists' bodies change, due to plastic surgery, weight gain/loss, age, whatever. But I have no doubt that kind of topic will be reported for flamebait and closed on second page. It did happen. And here we are on page number 8?

 

Gaga's way of expressing her aesthetic isn't limited to her clothing. She manipulates her face similar to how she manipulates her hair style- it's very intentional, she knows how to create an entire look from head to toe. It's actually quite fascinating, and a good conversation topic. If we can discuss "Should gaga wear wigs prior to 2012?" then discussing her face/makeup techniques is also valid. 

Also notice that there's more to a thread than the title. Look at the content. Everyone in here is supporting Gaga, defending her, saying she's beautiful regardless, saying it's not our business anyways, etc. If people were coming in here and dragging her to the pits or commenting with mean things, it'd get closed. But everyone is being positive, understanding, and supportive.

It's not just about her makeup, it's always about her alleged surgeries, "contradicting BTW", "whoever denies she had work done is delusional"...etc.

I'm sure her lip injections have to do with her insecurities rather than her art.

Yes, that's why I asked if that type of thread should be in Entertainment Talk, as those threads used to be in the Conversation thread. My other question was can we make the same basic thread every two months about a body part, weight issue or observation of something we think looks a little different for the same artist....over and over....every year? 

"Everyone" isn't supporting Gaga in these types of threads. There are comments saying that she is betraying fans due to her "having a nose job", she is going against everything she ever told her fans, she is caving into conventional beauty standards, she no longer stands for the bullied or different fans, she is compromising, when she stated she would never compromise for anyone, the nose job proves that it was all a big act, she's hypocritical and is a bad example for her fans, she could save some young fans life but instead she is choosing to get plastic surgery, it makes her look less intelligent, she's trying too hard to look beautiful and failing....and the most offensive....she never really had a hip job, because instead she had major plastic surgery during that time. That's right, Gaga screwed over her fans, especially those who had bought tickets to the tour, so she could have plastic surgery and hide out for nine months. 

Of course there are a lot of supportive comments...look at the accusations and judgements on Gaga's character we are having to defend! The fans get tired of seeing these types of threads (with the judgement posts that come along with them) every couple of months, sometimes in multiple threads. There is a point where the same thread over and over is ridiculous and that's what many people are saying.

2012 is when she started using beauty techniques to a bigger extent. it's not a negative title. i never mentioned surgeries either as i dont really believe she had any.

why are you hellbent on making this thread seem negative? it's an artistic discussion and gaga has been very open about discussing her beauty techniques. stop being pessimistic.
