She is aware of the consequences and if her voice is affected (which may or may not happen) in the future that'll be her own fault and she'll have to deal with the consequences - whether that be beings unable to sing or more serious health problems. I'd rather her not smoke, I'd rather no one smoke, but it's their own goddam lungs.

I don't care that she smokes but I'll be a little disappointed if the effects are noticeable in her voice. Obviously I think her well being is important but I stan for the music more then I stan for her.

Smoking is disgusting.  

Bono's voice from touring for years and smoking and age was weaker and thinner.  He quit smoking and his vocals this tour were amazing.  He sang for two and a half hours and was pretty strong for most of it.  

 

I wish she would quit.  It's so unhealthy, ages you, and lung cancer is an aggressive horrible disease, and 90 percent of lung cancer is caused from smoking and not caught until it's too advanced.

That is true, but we don't know how few cigarettes she smokes.

Well she probably didn't drink 50 cups of coffee either. Actually that amount of coffee is more dangerous than 12 cigarettes. She is probably exaggerating or she is talking about the amount of cigarettes and coffee she has had during the filming process of AHS.

Also most real addicts smoke more than 12 cigarettes per day. We don't know if she does it often or only when she is under a lot of stress.
