There are plenty of divas occupying space in this list - a result of having three and a half minutes to knock 'em sideways, perhaps. Still, it would be remiss not to include Lady Gaga's rendition of 'Bad Romance'. Where else and who else could entertain X Factor viewers as a feline version of the Futurama devil emerging from an oversized bath-piano? Now there's a sentence you never thought you'd read.

This was definitely the performance that made Gaga a thing in the UK. She was already big from TF singles, but this is when people really embraced her as something different and fresh. I remember it so well.

It debuted outside of the top ten as well and didn't make it in there (and straight to number one, actually) until this performance.

I prefer the EOG/Judas performance but this one is really good too. I wish she would've performed Bad Romance more times on TV.
