johnpe 916
I agree on almost everything, but why do you think prison is not the right choice? She should be charged with assault or child abuse, she kicked that one girl to stomach and that father fell on his son when she tripped him, the boy could've been badly hurt. In Scandinavian countries it's big issue if parents pull child's hair, imagine this? Idk, I'm just thinking out loud. I hate the racist scum. Because I never thought that prison is really the right choice for such situations. Her assault doesnt come from a olace of self-defense, it comes from a place of hate and racism.I always imagined camps, like prison, where they teach people and broaden their horizons, show them emotional videos and perhaps make then live a day being an immigrant or whatever.Cause you know theyll put this b---h in prison for 5 years in the best situation and what will she learn? This just provokes more hate towards her "victims". Theres a reason why most people who go to jail once alway go twice.unfortunately the idea about those camps would never be realized, the government doesn't want that. Mass control, **** like that, you get me MAKE IT WORK

Mass control, **** like that, you get meI totally agree. Locking someone away doesn't make them go, "Wow, I did something awful," it makes them upset that they got caught. I fully support non-profit rehabilitation programs over privatized prisons.(I also don't know what the prison system is like where she's from; my opinions are coming from my thoughts of the abhorrent US system)

It's like a hotel for him, nice warm meals, gym, library, pc...and recently he enrolled on political science course at Oslo University. I don't know how it is in Hungary tho. Its cool but sometimes some people need an old classical prison where they rape, torture and humiliate him daily resulting in a lifetime scar. SKANK 14,288
This woman is replacing the dentist who killed Cecil the lion as the world's most loathed villain. I think it's a little sad the way everyone gets to much pleasure from turning her into a demon. She isn't the living embodiment of evil, she just did something beastly. Before I jump on the public stoning bandwagon I'd like to hear her side of the story, why she did it, and if she is remorseful. It was appropriate for her to be fired, she wasn't doing her job effectively. It is appropriate for there to be some legal action, she assaulted two people, one of whom was a child. Is spending five years in prison proportionally appropriate for kicking a little girl in the shin and tripping a man who is holding his child? Seems excessive to me. People like Breivik are exceptions to the system because of how ****ed up they are (there's not really a better way to describe it ) but the Scandinavian/Nordic system - in Norway in particular - is proven to be far more effective for both the offender and society at large, other countries should take note. Cost I think, and more importantly recidivism is reduced as a result of the rehabilitation first, retribution second approach. Although... everyone else should be taking note of the Nordic model in general imo OT: She's clearly both an idiot and a cold-hearted person, she has nobody but herself to blame for whatever legal consequences she faces. She kicked a defenseless children and several times...that was not self-defense Obviously it wasn't self defense. What she did was awful, I'm not defending her actions. I just want to hear why she did it, what was her motivation. Did she feel like she had to help the police in that situation? Was she motivated by her hatred for immigrants? Was it just some terrible lapse in judgment? Does she feel remorse? Dehumanizing her is just stupid.

Well, that's your opinion and it's ok, but for example, I don't need to hear the Nazis motivations because It does not change what I think about them
SKANK 14,288
Well, that's your opinion and it's ok, but for example, I don't need to hear the Nazis motivations because It does not change what I think about themThe only reason to deny a person their humanity is to make it easier to hate them. In the same way people turn immigrants into boogieman, people like you are turning this Hungarian journalist into a boogieman.Of course you don't want to hear her motivations, of course you don't want to have a more nuanced understanding of the situation, because to do so would take things out of a black and white realm of understanding. It's easier intellectually to strip someone of their humanity and turn them into evil monsters. It requires less thought, less understanding, and less compassion. It's just easier, it's child like. I get it, I just don't think it's helpful.I don't like what this woman did, I just want to understand why she did it.
