The Galaxy S6 is a better package and a more durable phone for those who are tech savvy and use their phones too much.

Then there are others that like the iPhone's simplicity.

It's like your shoving your technological life style down our throats.

my father is not tech savvy and he owns a Galaxy S6. He has zero issues with it. He calls, texts and checks his email. Its just as easy to use as an iPhone. There's a homescreen with a weather and clock widget and then there's icons with labels. It's not hard to use unless you want it to be.

What an underwhelming device that had no hype or buzz. Don't understand how anyone would buy this over a Galaxy S6/Note5. There's nothing unique about it. 3d Touch is a joke, it's no different than pressing and holding on the screen. And just an FYI, Apple made the battery 100mah smaller, so don't expect any improvement. They usually always lie about how they improved the battery, but not this year. Can't wait till the S7 announcement, Samsung has yet to disappoint me.

That's exactly the way I was thinking until my samsung broke and I bought the iphone 6. I couldn't go back now, I love my phone.

have you used 3D touch to know it's a joke? It's also different from a pressing a holding the screen. (i.e.. pressing and holding an app icon makes the home screen editable. But a force touch creates a menu to do before entering the app.) How useful it's actually going to be I'm not sure but don't be knocking it so soon. The smaller battery is off set by the battery optimization in iOS 9. The battery in my iPod Touch is lasting a lot longer on the iOS 9 betas than iOS 7+8 (and my Moto G witch has double the battery.) with currently 2.5 hours of usage and 26 hours of standby and it's at 90%. Can't wait to see it on my iPhone 6.

I think Samsung maybe needs to try creating their own software/OS and ecosystem again. That way they can optimize their stuff more than they can on Android. Apple makes their phones run just as well as competitors even though they have half the specs. Imagine if Samsung could do that with their specs. But then they'd loose out on the Android apps/ecosystem.

well if you buy the phone unlocked you just order a new sim card, because the iphone 6s uses nano sim and the 4s uses micro sim (?). Then you just put that sim card into the phone. If you buy the phone from the carrier you already have they usually let you keep the plan you already have.

tldr: yes you have to cancel your current plan if you switch carrier, you don't if you get the phone from the carrier you already have, or buy it unlocked and order a new sim card from your current carrier.
