I adore Work Bxxch. I wish it faired better and that Britney Jean was just as edgy. It was too risky to release,  but I'm glad she did. :legend: even though it didn't get that big.

BTW is actually, imo, one of the most hard-hitting pop album. The first time I heard BTW, the song, I found it extreeemely noisy. BTW is very loud in general tbh, it's an exhausting album.

Work Bitch is like super tame Progressive House EDM :awkney:

FU by Miley goes harder.

Edit: If we're talking about singles released by popstars...

hop on that **** like a maniac

give us a better example then :flutter:

An elderly person slowly falling off a chair onto a soft carpet goes harder than Swine

I find it funny how everyone mentions Aura when the OP asked for singles :rip:

Which is why I went with Judas.

Next question - what was the most hard-hitting EDM song that was also a massive pop hit? Could it be Bad Romance?

People saying Swine is aggressive.... I f*cking wish :rip:

It sounds really basic just like Work Bitch. :reductive2:

Whoops, you're right.

The title is misleading though :zilla:

In that case I vote for BTW actually, it's a ****ing bomb of noise and it's actually quite remarkable how that song became so successful because it was very anti-trend at the time. From what I remember pop music was a lot more straightforward, clean and streamlined in its instrumentals and BTW sounded like a delicious wrong move for a current pop star which was fabulous.

Aura, Judas, Swine etc. They all go harder.

'Aggressive'? Gurl, BYE.

Have you ever listened to Aura and Swine?

I'm gonna have to agree with the people who name Aura. The verses of course.

Did no one read in my OP where I literally said "Other than Aura or Swine, BUT they weren't either singles".... trying to think of released singles

And when I mean aggressive I think a better word is... relentlentless. When the chorus comes in it just keeps drilling the listener in the head getting stronger and then it lets up when the verse comes again.
