I was going to ask for you to quote me next time, but this really isn't a reply to what I wrote so never mind that. What I meant was (just to avoid misinterpretation of others thanks to you): this is a forum attached to a website providing updates on Gaga's career.

A forum serves the purpose of discussing various opinions. A fan site would be LM.com because it gathers self-identified Little Monsters and its sole purpose really is to celebrate Gaga as a person and an artist and come together as a community. While it's obvious that this forum may result in the same dynamics, the goals couldn't be more different.

Honestly, it's almost comical to see so many people make "why are you even here" / "go to MadonnaNation" comments when the truth of the matter is that a lot of fans here can't even handle the basic underlying implication of being on a forum: being exposed to contrary opinions. The more accurate statement would be: "I can't handle an opinion that is very different from mine, so I'll have to either learn how to handle it or transport myself to a place where I'm not exposed to it."

And yet, the main reaction seems to be that a couple of members gang up, break the rules consistently by making off-topic, flamebait, personally attacking posts (that are against the rules, unlike negative opinions about Gaga), seeking actively to derail threads and spend their time disqualifying a simple point of view instead of communicating with it. It's sad, really. And it's why this place doesn't attract me anymore to be quite honest.

I know this is not really a reply to what you wrote, but since you didn't care about my post when you wrote what you did, I guess I don't feel bad for this one.

Because he, just as anyone else, is allowed to have a view and he has been correctly discussing it, providing factual support for his points. This is a forum and not an oppressive dictatorship, and he should be able to express himself with no fear of being attacked by people that lack argumentative skill. 

When someone repeats the same everytime they can it just gets boring. 

We get it. Gaga is nothing. Just another popstar. She hasn't done anything. Madonna created the world and everything that it contains.

She's still the Queen of Pop as in she will always be the Queen of Pop until someone makes a greater impact. And a flop era will be the last thing to change that.

Taylor & B's successes are both minor when compared to Madonna's prime.

I disagree with this statement. I know I jumped in late but Gaga has had the same impact as Madonna if not greater. Gaga is a very versatile artist and musician and I probably couldn't think of one pop girl who could match that. Gaga is able to move people in the direction she wants musically and politically meaning what Gaga does people will follow or listen. Like when people thought Gaga "is over" and the DWUW video leaked it was the most talked about thing in the media and news within just 30 seconds. Her impact in pop culture is phenomenal and the generations have changed so Madonna cannot stay "queen of pop" forever. I however do believe within the next 20-30 years there will be a new one.

I gang up? How? I have only made one personal attack at someone in the last couple of weeks and it's already mentioned on this very page, for which I was justly warned. And that was in a personal discussion one-on-one, so please provide me with your other examples.

Or are you just going to ignore my response like you did when you already called me out on "ALWAYS" complaining about Gaga? I hope not.

And I'm actually on a break, have not posted for more than a week now and I plan on continuing it, today I just felt like my voice was needed on three occasions so I posted and I made an effort to make it good. Yet the only responses I got were not really responses to what I wrote at all. Well, sort of, but where are your counterarguments?

Anyway, it really saddens me to see this kind of behavior from you, I really thought we were friends and it's kind of.. horrifying to see that you changed your entire perception of me (or maybe you didn't like me all this time, that's possible) because of some phantom.

1st. It isn't about this thread when I talk about multiple threads saying the same every time

He hasn't been attacking other users directly like others have done with him but he is not contributing to the discussion in a positive way. 

He implied that some people's opinions are based of illusions they created about Gaga. He totally discredited Gaga for her C2C Grammy. He said that she hasn't change anything in music which is arguable and subjective but discredits her anyway.

He even said that he was going to keep arguing until the other user faced his falsity. That's not arguing, that's just discrediting someone's point of view. He also said that any human being with a rational thought process would see through her ingenuine attempt to distance herself from the Madonna comparisons. 

He may be arguing better than some crazy stans but he is not just voicing his opinion. He is also putting others down while arguing.
