DiscoHeaven23 35,007
It's evident that Gaga's core audience is older than both Katy and Taylor's, but who's core audience is older out of the two of them?

TimisaMonster 31,073
Taylor...her songs are more for a maturer audience with relationship issues and people of all ages van relate to that .. Katy just talks about...well idk what actually...but it sounds more digestible for children...not a grown woman who's almost thirty... Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! PartySick 144,831
I feel like they're both the same age, honestly. Teens to young adults. Thanks to 2014 and 2015, Gaga's audience is now teens to geriatrics which is awesome 'cause nothing is cuter or more awesome than old people

Balancing your point, I'd argue a catchy pop tune transcends generations but lyrics that are stuck in high school about boyfriends are a huge turn-off to many mature listeners. Plus, Katy has Wide Awake, Taylor has We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
