When I vote for a party I take in every policy. For example being social liberal is more important than economic policies. People over profit any day. I had a look at her political opinions and they so right wing it would put David Cameron to shame.

Wow that is insulting calling me "borderline communist". I am an democratic socialist. I believe capitalism should work for all not the few like the way you believe. I am more left of centre. I no longer believe in full blown socialism but we need to give everyone the ability to live a decent life rather than poverty.

giving everyone a chance to not be in poverty is exactly why i dont suppory socialism

and ur ****ysis of me aiy accurate. I dont think iy should work for the few... Theres capitalism like America used to have, and theres chrony capitalism which is what america has now. Big difference. Carly also recognizes this!

have  you listened to him? He has elaborated on his plans. Multiple times.

And what is bad about him being well versed in economics? Every politician has their focus. Obama's is to divide and alienate people to create more social programs.

because some ppl on this sitw understand gay rights and thats it (not saying it isnt important)

As far as economy goes, many ppl nowadaya dont understand the complexity of economics. Taxing the rich and redistributing wealth sounds good morally and is easy to understand so ppl assume its the most effective way to help everyone

most ppl dont understand just how much backfire socialism can cause especially if not executed properly

Greece, Japan, Venezuela, southern europe... All destroyed by socialism

Scandinavia is only exeption i can think of that has managed ok with socialism, because at least they executed their plans competently.

Pure capitalism causes poverty. It was regulated massively it would work in favour of everyone.  We need to help everyone not the few like all right-wingers believe. People over profit.

I have saw our right-wingers work and they just live for discrimination. Left-wingers just strive for equality

a strive that doesnt usually work... And conservatives are old fashioned on social issues i agree, in that aspect im not a fan

but the right wings point isnt to bring ppl down...

business investment and job creation to give people real means to make a good livig for themselves is better at killing poverty than food stamps or welfare which often gives u mediocre income

more ppl unemployed depending on webs of dependance is a less productive economy. And middle class suffers the most

socialism usually backfires. I can think of maybe 3 or 4 nations in north europe that actuallly pulled off socialism. The vast majority have failed miserably

Whites didn't "steal" the land. They took ownership of it. Native Americans didn't believe anyone owned the land to begin with. You should read up on your Native American history.

:sharon:

So because Native Americans didn't operate under a land based, capitalist society it was okay for colonialists to take the land and derive profit off of it while discriminating economically and socially against the indigenous peoples? How does that even make sense?

If we didn't help the unemployed they would have absolutely no chance in getting successful. Capitalism needs regulate. Left-wing capitalism is a far more viable method rather than right-wing.

left wing isnt capitalist... at least not in the freedom front... left wing is usually socialism

by decreasing business investment and creating more unemployment your not only making a less productive economy, your literally hurting incomes for middle class because more unemployment means few wage hikes due to less competition for labor

I think were gonna have to agree to disagree... i used to believe in left winged policies 10 years ago before i really got into economics and learned a lot

Yeah I agree. I think alot of people feel "social justice" and redistribution of wealth is the nice thing to do, but it doesn't work, which in turn leaves more people in poverty and suffering.

People don't understand there must be rich people, and there will always be poor people, and the best we can do is build to help others. The democrats think social programs can help bring people up but someone has to pay for that...and its expensive, and often not executed because the government doesn't self edit.

It becomes a bust. And these programs like Obama's Healthcare really damage people at a dangerous level, helping them for a couple years but ruining their lives in the long run.

I think people are really rooting for Bernie because they think he is for the little guy, and perhaps he might think he is, but he has no effective responsible way to manage a country of over 300 million while dealing with outside threats. His plan would help people initially but destroy people for a long time. It already started with Obama, and people hear we "have a deficit" but don't know what that means. They think it will just go away. But no one will fix it. We are 19 Trillion bucks in debt to the rest of the world, and Bernie's plan wants to put us 39 Trillion bucks in debt. That's insane. Eventually the consequences will lead to war and poverty, more bubble bursts, and an economy so inconsistent people won't be able to maintain job security, buy homes, buy cars, or even afford a refrigerator.

But Hillary and Bernie want you to be worried about being called a name, or not making $15/hr flipping a burger, or not getting "reasonable means of living". What they aren't telling people is that they want the government to organize it, and they want big business that is "evil" with their corporate interests to go away.

They forget to mention that, in all the programs including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Planned Parenthood, NACP, etc., still have left minorities at the same level of poverty (13%) since the programs began in the 1950s with little to no fluctuation.

The only times poverty has began to lower at all were during economic booms enhanced by fiscal, economic presidents who built people up privately (like Reagan (R) and Clinton (D)).

When are people going to wake up and understand that handouts don't work. Handups from private companies, do. They build careers, relationships, and a sense of respect, loyalty, and organization in society that fill in many (not all) problem gaps with social issues all together, and much more effectively than government programs.

This is why I am voting for Carly Fiorina.

thats the vicious cycle were in. Higher government spending helps the economy short term... But the higher taxes and debt long term put a real strain on entre-preneurship and business investment...

more people become unemployed long term and the economy is less productive. A higher percentage of people thus become dependant on social assistance peograms

additionally these programs dont make u better off than if you have a real job that pays decently. You make a better living, and contribute to economic activity at the same time without being a drain

social programs and regulation have been on the rise in the developed world for the past 40-50 years. If that was suppostu actually help the middle class, income inequality shouldnt be rising

Look at America after 2 terms if Democrats... Income inequality still rising, part-time jobs are a real trend, and the 5.1% unemployment is misleading because if take inti consideration that labor force participation has dropped down to 62%, the amount of people actually working is diminished. Retirees from aging population can only partially explain the big drop. Discouraged workers and people on welfare and food stamps explain the rest

investment and entrepreneurship an innivation generates wealth... More employment also means more labor competition and so people get more of the economic pie with raises

Socialism doesnt encourage wealth generation... It just desperately tries to recycle it by yanking it from the people who have more.

If the government is really competent, investments money really well in infrastructure and education, those are silverlinings of socialism and can create competitivess in things companies look at besides tax rates. I think thats why a small portion of socialist Countries have succeeded (like scandinavia)

but if u prioritize education and infrastructure which are investments anyway that alone doesnt require high taxes

unfortunately the idea of yanking wealth from the successfull sounds appealing to the ones struggling and ppl dont really think about how it might backfire on them and actually make it worse in the end

Well a form of socialism and capitalism. We can't let capitalism go f*cking crazy. It needs to be regulated but let small businesses flourish. Big coporation they should be regulated beyond belief.

A country does need welfare to help the poorest whilst they are disabled or unemployed. Well can't let this discrimination too. The 1% of any country don't deserve better chances in life. EVERYONE deserve the same chance

i didnt say there shouldnt be any regulation at all. I didnt say ALL social programs need to go...

u mentioned disability. Im not against that. Those ppl will never get a chance to be on par with everyone else. Your talking about extreme Capitalism here

im not for extreme anything. Id consider myself a "centre-right" wing on the spectrum. For instance i dont support a total flat tax system as some right wingers do

however i do think government is too bloated as of now and regulation too stiff in many areas. Enough so to damage the economy.

taxes need to be lower and restructured. Loopholes closed

The current tax system is too complex to be fair as loopholes allow some companies/individuals to lower taxes a lot and some people and companies cant
