You have a lot of nerve crying the 'rip off' wolf when your fav blatantly copied Sarah Bareilles for her lead single. LOL

Roar was written, recorded and produced before Brave was released. We don't know for sure who copied who. Try again.

Is it because it is a rip off of Without You? :proud:

Exactly. It's really not a stretch. Doesn't matter that it only resembles it in the chorus, it's still a rip-off. Maybe it was all coincidental but come on, she was totally inspired by Lana for this song, meaning she listened to Lana's music and got a feel for her style. Without You is a bonus track, so that could be Taylor's get out clause as in "it's only on a specific edition, most people won't track it down, so the chances of me copying it are slim." But I don't buy it. If I had been inspired by an artist to write a tune, I would listen very carefully to the melodies of all their work afterwards to make sure it wasn't similar. Lana only has 2 albums and a re-release, so it wouldn't take long. Listening to another artist's work when you make your own isn't the smartest idea in the world. That was Diana Vickers' excuse when Red Hot Chili Peppers accused her of stealing the melody from their song, Under The Bridge. She claimed she hadn't meant it but it might have happened accidentially because she was listening to this song when she wrote hers and that she had noticed the similarity but decided to do nothing about it. *facepalm* At least she was honest.
