Morphine Prince 105,356
So she's NOT a lesbian.
Carmex 964
yes and doing a reality show will totally help with that ugh the contradiction is real That sounds a little arrogant. Her show not only features her but other transgender woman. Anyone who doesn't understand the struggles that come along with being a trans woman can easily watch the show and get informed and or educated on what they go through. Her wanting a NORMAL relationship with a man doesn't have anything to do with her reality show. Her love life =/= her reality show.
Chic 20,830
I'm gay too, but I don't think that's what she's implying. My friend and I discuss transgender realities often, and we find difficulty trying to figure out where s-xuality comes into play, like if you're a man who transitions into a woman, you could still like women, which I guess makes you a lesbian post-transition, but a straight man pre-transition?? And vice versa. I think it could go either way. It's still a really complex idea to me, though. Transition doesn't come into play when determining s-xuality. You can identify as a certain gender without transitioning, so you take whatever gender you identify as, and whatever gender you're attracted to, and that determines your s-xuality. mucinex 4,260
u used to have a dick so how are you to call that relationship normal? (i'm not saying this from my point of view, i'm not being transphobic, haters back off, )

FFXSoul91 1,098
From what I'm gathering, Caitlyn is only s-xually attracted to women, but yet the idea of a relationship with a man is appealing because she would be "treated like a woman" in the traditional sense. This is actually pretty sad.
Chic 20,830
So she's NOT a lesbian. She seemed to identify as ace when she first began her transition, so this sort of makes me think she wants a man in the same way Paris Hilton wants her dogs - accessories to her vanity and fame.I'll also note that feminizing hormones sometimes increase people's attraction to men - I've seen many cases where transwomen who were exclusively attracted to women pre-transition began to develop romantic and flirtatious feelings for men once on hormones. This is actually pretty sad. After more than 50 years of pretending to be someone she wasn't it is not surprising that she gets to know herself. That might include an attraction to men, too. We do not know and therefore we shouldn't be judging her. If anything, I applaud her for her bravery to love herself.
Warholian 6,880
Maybe we should all stop forcing labels on every single thing that has to do with s-xuality and gender and just let people do exactly what they feel like doing?Labels and gender assumptions are the exact reason why she's had so many problems with her self identity throughout her life. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

I thought she really expressed desire for the surgery.I don't recall hearing about that, but I could be wrong. Do you have receipts for this? It doesn't make much sense that, unless she's afraid, she wouldn't get it done. After all, it's not as if she can't afford it thousands of times over.
