Stop making everything about race

What a predictable response.

Call me when Gaga or any other white woman would get "randomly searched" or constantly plagued with "terrorist" claims while wearing a turban.

some people's opinions here are so funny :lmao: please go fight for real and serious issues not gaga having her head wrapped in a piece of cloth.

And tell me which one of those "real issues" are being solved by you b---hing at some people for finding fault in this situation? exactly, none.

It's not too far. It's a perfectly legitimate comparison.

Gaga shouldn't be able to wear something based on a traditional religious headdress while being exempt to the discrimination that people who wear that for purposes other than for stylistic choices. Keep in mind, I'm not specifically pertaining to this particular situation because I understand that this is for a T.V. role and I'm sure she doesn't have full control over wardrobe, but she has had a long history of wearing turbans and burqas.

This is why you shouldn't let your kids have access to Tumblr.

Just because some people are discriminated against for wearing a turban doesn't mean others suddenly aren't allowed to wear it. Call out the discrimination, don't try to restrict and forbid others from wearing something.

In fact, if it becomes more normalized, it will lessen the stigma on those being discriminated against.

I'm not a kid and I don't have a personal tumblr (I do have a general fashion one, though). Don't try it because you aren't slick.

Yet Gaga has never called out the discrimination and she is the one wearing the turban, funny how that works.

Just because you wear a turban doesn't mean you're required to become a anti turban-discrimination advocate. opp @ me being right about you having a tumblr.

Having a tumblr and being socially aware are two different things and you were wrong in trying to fit me into the "SJW Tumblr" trope. Honorable attempt, though.

"Call out the discrimination, don't try to restrict and forbid others from wearing something" did you forget you said this? If anyone should be calling out discrimination, it should be the person wearing the turban. Point blank period.

Clearly you're deficient in multiple social qualities and you joined this conversation with an abrasive (and quite irritating, honestly) tone. I'm not going to derail this thread any further, that being said, I would be more than happy to discuss this with you in PM's if you're willing to use your big kid thinking cap. :)
