Helix 1,480
social justice warriors are not going to be happy... Well to be fair where did the turban even go in the first place for her to be "bringing it back" in a big way --- OT: She looks good tho, and I love what we've seen so far of the set, such a major upgrade compared to how bad Freakshows set was

His comment makes perfect sense. Here is an article published by the New York Times in 2010 about Turbans being "brought back." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/11/fashion/11NOTICED.html?_r=0 Also, while you may not have found the set of Freak Show pleasing, Jessica Lang sobbed when she first saw it, saying the set itself was "like poetry." But, who knows, maybe you know more about set design then a celebrated acting legend.

I won't get started on the topic of western fashion and cultural items cause clearly we won't agree. And good for Jessica, I guess...? Just because she enjoyed the set so much and is a legend doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on it. It did it's job of fitting the theme of a rundown freakshow, but I still didn't enjoy it that much and I don't see that changing.

Since you think the set did a fitting job for the theme of the show, I'd love to know what specify you found to be so bad about it. It's I can only apologize, not I can only apologies.A typo is different then miss quoting one of the most iconic lines in cinematic history, but you caught me, so twelve points to Slytherin. Gianni Versace 2,987
"bringing back the turban" just because white people aren't known to wear it doesn't mean it was ever gone. White people love to "discover" things that poc have known about. She really shouldn't be wearing it, it's not ~edgy~. Other than that, I like the rest of the look (those earrings and shoulder pads ) and I still remained perched for AHS.

Since you think the set did a fitting job for the theme of the show, I'd love to know what specify you found to be so bad about it. I really liked the large clown head at the entrance to the Freakshow. I would've liked more of the set to have the sinister feeling that had, considering the shady things that went on around that place. I think refining the set a bit would've been nice too, as it had things like a Ferris Wheel and a Merry-Go-Round which didn't get used much (as far as I can remember) but definitely had potential. I feel that happened a lot in the season though. It had spots of huge potential that sadly didn't evolve into much. Lastly, I think they could've played around with duality more. Like how Elsa's tent on the inside was super opulent, yet on the outside it was just another run of the mill, average circus tent.
