I fully believe she's the most creative person in pop music (pop, in this context, meaning accessible music, not necessarily top 40 music). I mean... she made a pop album that's virtually entirely a capella! She also has a very unique and divisive voice. Some people hate it, but I loved it at first listen. Björk has inspirations, of course, but I don't think they're obvious. I mean... she cites people like Chaka Khan, Public Enemy, Michael Jackson, and Elis Regina as some of her favorite artists, but she doesn't sound like any of them! I'm not a woman. I'm not a man.
