But I thought Hotel was the new dark thing in town, have they already started finding ways of getting even darker? brownie 5 Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 each season would only be able to have like 5 episodes though considering it takes them 6-7 months to film 13 episodes Not with two separate crews and two separate writing teams. Game of Thrones for example, shoots simultaneously with 2-3 different crews/actors in different locations. They could do the same thing here--split the writing staff and crew into two units, hire some new people to fill the gaps, and shoot two seasons in one year easily. That takes away fro the fun part of waiting and it gets me even more excited for fall.I watch some shows on Showtime that only get 12 episodes every 12 months. That's painful.
