Disclaimer: LG5 apparently is not going to be dark, since it's already in progress for a long time, by the time LG6 is being produced she probably will be inspired by LG5 itself so I doubt anything will be translated into music at the moment...

Not really, the aesthetic got boring after early BTW since she'd been doing it for like 2 years, I much preferred her off the rails blonde cartoon popstar looks in 2012. 

If she's really going back to it, that kinda annoys me because she's basically conforming back to what the public want her to be she's not really evolving if she's backtracking. Unless it was in the vein of the FAME campaign "dark" like her being s-xy and wearing a lot of black and having brunette hair

The problem with the Darkness she did before was that as she was doing it, she was getting more and more depressed and insecure because of her label and people taking advantage of her.  She got dark for the wrong reasons.  Now she can return and do darkness joyously.

Darkness has been apart of Gaga's artistry since the beginning. I appreciate the change of pace during ARTPOP and C2C, but I think every Gaga fan should expect darkness from Gaga. I mean, its Gaga.

I'm loving this for AHS but I hope LG5 isn't all dark.
