He may appear later as a ghost or maybe he is the demon. Also he hasn't been mentioned a lot so he is probably not the main villain or even one of the main characters overall I called him one of the main villains for a reason. As ryan murphy said, March, Sally, And Ramona are the main villains this season, hence me calling him a main and questioning how he's going to show up past the flashbacks to the 30's. Plus, they wouldn't have released a photo of his character if he didn't have some major purpose in the season. That, and he obviously appears in the last 4 episodes since he has a plot involving queen nepotism emma roberts. But, ryan could have just been hyping the character like he does with most of them. He hasn't been as hyped as Matt Bomer or Angela Bassett so I doubt he is going to be as important as them. I'm guessing Gaga will be a "vampire" - the good old person who gets off drinking human blood.
