Is this reason enough to conclude that LG5 is not a mid-tempo/ballad album?

have no fear, her next album won't be mid-tempo ballads

I don't know why some people convinced themselves that this album will be like TIHTY

she will have a lot of dance tracks, they'll be just less electronic / EDM if anything

meltdowns (because people didn't get slow, boring album) will be HUGE, I can't wait

we'll see... No need to worry, whatever this album is, I'm pretty sure Gaga will deliver something very good !

Dance, Rock, Ballads, EDM, Disco : maybe we'll have a bit of everything... Gaga is smart she knows how to mix different genres...

LG5 will be full pop disco electronic music .... she is too eager to prove that she can still sell millions of albums to go da experimental maybe LG6 will be more rock orientated, but as right now LG5 will be dance album and I can't wait to bust my ass to it :gaga:

Your question implies that Gaga wouldn't ever be able to diverge from the style that she embarked with on The Fame. But Gaga has already shown that she can really transform her songs into new versions (even though she hasn't done that a lot the past few years). I'm sure that, if she switches genres (although I doubt she'll do a complete 360), she'll manage to transform her past singles to go with it. Or as @FATCAT said, she'll just play them as she always did and do a blend of styles throughout the show.

Well she has ballad versions of Applause, Poker Face, and Bad Romance, so I think you just answered your own question

She of course can turn any of her pop songs into acoustic versions, I know that, but those are usually for TV performances rather than tour performances. I think it would be really inappropriate if she does a soul album like Adele and then have a segment of the tour with only dance tracks while 80% of the tour is supposed to be toned down and vocal focused.

actually the majority of the fanbase wants her to do uptempo dance tracks so the meltdown won't be as huge
