He is tho. The most attraattractive to the everyday girl - although Liam is more my type -, the vocally talented one and he has the sassiness and personality which the GP sometimes loves. Poor ol' Niall is the sweet innocent one without much defining traits just like Michelle. 

I think Harry will do the best when they inevitably all go solo.

Kinda mean of them to announce this now. Why couldn't they wait until after their next album was released? The fans have had too much to deal with right now and it's unfair. If they're not splitting for another 7 months and are releasing an album in 3 months, why announce the split early? Whatever, they're very fortunate to make it to 5 albums - most boybands don't make it past 3, some no more than 2. I actually wonder if they made this decision just to p**s off Zayn because he lost them £2 million each. In case anyone doesn't know, every member had a £2 million loyalty bonus if they stayed with the group until the bitter end but in order for the deal to happen, all 5 of them have to stay in. With Zayn's departure, the deal was null and void. The label saved £10 million but the boys lost out and they must be put out by it. This is like their way of saying: "If you'd stayed just a few months longer, we could all have split up together meaning you wouldn't have had to look bad for quitting and you'd have had £2 million in your pocket too. You'd sure be grateful of that when you're struggling as a soloist!"

Whatever, they won't reunite. If it's just a year's hiatus, why are they announcing a split? A hiatus and a split are two completely different things. This will be no different to The Wanted split - they said they were taking an extended haitus...and then promptly broke up without officially stating it. I guess it was a way to cushion the blow for their fans. This  is the same tactic.

I'm having trouble understanding how some people are surprised by this. Last year, they extended some contract by 2 years with the label and some 1D fans said after it was up, they'd take a break/split. I understand them being upset, but surprised?

Also, I was wondering... since they're all receiving some of 5sos' profits, will that continue during their break/split?
