It's funny how such thing needs to be debated, you don't see rock fans claiming Nirvana did not bring alternative rock into the mainstream because Evanescence and Green Day made it trendy years after Nevermind was released. It's only pop fans that are completely clueless about their favorite genres history.

These "carefully worded opinions" that call Gaga titles such as fake, liar, hypocrite, lazy, careless, etc. are looked at as "opinions". Opinions that some people are posting everyday... week after week, month after month. Why isn't this constant negativity towards Gaga on her own fanforum considered flamebait, when such minor comments are considered Flamebait when they are directed towards other artists?

If someone posted :reductive: in a Gaga thread they'd be warned just like they'd be warned in a thread for another popstar.If someone posted an explanation about why they dislike something another artist did they would not be warned, just like they wouldn't be warned for doing the same in a thread about Gaga.

As a Madonna fan I will honestly tell you that it's perfectly fine to post that in the Madonna discussion thread Not as a separate thread though, because this is not a Madonna forum.

Yes, you could make that thread. (Entertainment Talk would be the forum to do it, just make sure you are constructive in the OP and don't resort to insults- insults get flamebait warnings, constructive criticism does not. Know the difference.)

If it's allowed, fine, but I just don't get why you think it's fair yourself. This is a Gaga forum. A thread about being over Madonna belongs on a place like MadonnaNation.

We all know you're doing this for the wrong reasons, so it's just a bit disappointing to me how you are so intent on posting the way you've been doing instead of letting **** go and have a good time, especially when me and Jjang are even fine with you putting Madonna on blast, in the right thread.

But of course that blows your logic of "If we'd make a thread about your fav then you'd react the same way too" so you're gonna ignore our cooperation, but I hope you're at least seeing how you're being a pain in the ass intentionally and unnecessarily.

This brings up the entire problem that we used to have though If only Madonna fans are supposed to discuss in the Madonna thread, then you know that every other thread (that's not news related) is made by the people that hate her (meaning: it's flamebait).

Anyway, if that's the way GGD works nowadays fine. But that's pretty ****ty if you ask me.

Now you can open that in the Entertainment Talk section. You don't need a source or anything to open a thread...or you can use some loosely based article from a while back to open a thread.
