Why haven't I realized how positive this article was?

Here are some highlights I think are worth reading, in case you're too lazy to read the whole article.

-Even the weakest moments on ARTPOP are so carefully built and ardently imagined that one cannot help but admire the effort.
-Lady Gaga has offered fans her most sonically and lyrically diverse album to date
-ARTPOP is imperfect, but so is its CREATOR
-It is a complicated album that should be applauded (pun intended) for inspiring INTERPRETATION, as well as telling fans it's okay to just dance

-ARTPOP naturally abides by this far-reaching ambition and looks to re-think the "pop album" as an entity, even more than Lady Gaga's last album did (Born This Way fans calm your tits)

Aura - Begins ARTPOP in an exotic shroud, which positions ARTPOP as an album with ambitious ideas and breakneck electronic passages

G.U.Y. - first true ARTPOP standout (couldn't agree more), a shuddering dance siren
Do What U Want - exploded upon release, the pair have envisioned a specific blueprint for their theatrical collaboration, and execute it differently

MANiCURE - the new Poker Face, an obvious choice for future single
Swine - Gaga transports her listeners to an angry corner in her mind on the shrieking industrial number "Swine"
Donatella - An anthem for the outcasts that have a right to feel gorgeous, one of the strongest figures in the fashion world
Mary Jane Holland - Searching for answers in the form of a new identity, Gaga's voice survives just long enough to outlast the EDM STORM
Dope - Gaga sounds broken here, and the effect is bruising and brilliant

and a comment below mentioned how ARTPOP (84/100 rated by Billboard) had a rating higher than all of these albums:
Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey - 83/100
My Everything by Ariana Grande - 81/100
PRISM by Katy Perry - 83/100
Britney Jean by Britney Spears - 76/100

If you act like you don't know how ARTPOP charted, it indeed looked like an album of the millennium with the potential to win 5 Grammy awards at least.

& I think we can all agree that Billboard reviews are ridiculous and worthless. PRISM getting the same score as Ultraviolence? I mean, if that doesn't say it all..

But they still make good points. I like the interpretation ànd just dance mention and how ARTPOP rethinks the idea of a pop album.

Then they abandoned her after it did not match the sales of her previous albums :flop:

In my messy era.

I enjoy PRISM but it can't match UV in any possible way.

THIS too! I am not a huge fan of the sound of Ultraviolence..But it's objectively 100 times better than Prism :rip:

it's actually extremely underrated. It's a deep album that one must listen to with a very open mind to understand.
