Where You Been?”I knew of "this sick beat" and "nice to meet you where you been" but wasn't aware of the others. This is really shocking. "This sick beat" is the worst because that's definitely been said before in songs well before Taylor even wanted to become a singer. Hell, Gaga even sang "this beat is sick" on Lovegame. An artist called Ben Norton actually spoke out about this by making a song with his band, Peculate called This Sick Beat, composed entirely of these three words repeated over and over in a metal style to protest it. He said: "Trademarks are a direct attack on one of the most fundamental and inalienable rights of all: our freedom of speech. It's good on your pocket, but not for your image hun. Shows a lot that you care more about your money. Sad, but I understand.
