I suppose it's because I know from her other albums how much better she can be so it pales in comparison. But as a stand alone pop album, it's very good. With the exception of some fillers. The album has one of my fave Gaga songs of all time: Paparazzi. The song is a perfect representation of fame and who Gaga was back then and is performed, written, sung and executed perfectly. It wasn't until I heard Paparazzi and later saw the video that I was thrown into awe; the rest is history. I remember downloading it and lying in my bed in awe at how utterly flawless it was. That was 5 years ago. I have been obsessed with her ever since.
