I still think the woman should have a choice. It is her life and her body. Sure, the child could've done amazing things, but they could've also done horrible things. Nobody should be forced to carry a child they don't want, especially if it is from a horrible event, like rape.

I always believe that both sides of abortion debates have valid points (even though I think it should be legal here in Ireland..). However, I find it wrong to just expect women to carry a child they didn't plan for, especially in cases of rape. If that girl wants an abortion, then she should get one. It's her body and her decision. He has to take into consideration that she's 10. I doubt carrying a child at that age is good for her health.

10 year old mom + trauma (mental illness coming is like 99% likely) + education being compromised (lack of cash as a result) = DISASTER, spare society & the poor children, Republicans need to stop.

 

 

This is the reason I plan not to have a child, why should a child be brought into this World with an unstable parent, it's just too much pain on both sides, this is not always the case though like for example Britney Spears' kids honestly saved her despite having a mental illness, but mine is in many ways is too agressive as of now.

The irony of that man talking about "saving an innocent life"....by ruining the life of a REAL person, a 10 years old girl, to save a fœtus so that man can sleep peacefully at night.

This is so easy when you aren't a woman, so you have a lot less risk to be raped, to face discrimination based on your gender, that you aren't 10 years old, hence can't make a decision on your own, have to relate on the people around you and that you haven't been raped which could lead in different trauma, if not hate for the future baby to be born, to be for pro choice. It's really easy when you are a what 60 something republican living in the US, that will never have to deal with it... But I wonder how MrHuckabee would react if let's say his 10 years old granddaughter (if she exists) was raped and got pregnant, would he suggest her that that precious life inside her belly matters more than hers?
