OMG SHE REALLY DOES :ghost:

People criticize her a lot but I really really really liked both Violet and Zoe

I loved both her characters. There's something so human about her. People complain about her acting, but I think it's amazing. She plays the roles quite well and ends up being this quieter, pure moral compass. Her characters are so easy to support for me because I relate to them. I feel like I would totally be her in those situations. The peer ostracisation, the suicide attempt (tmi?), the infatuation with impurity and attraction to those who embody it, having lived in a hectic household with family members I distance myself from, the seclusion, etc. I prefer Violet over Zoe because of this but they're characters played in very similar ways.

People say she acted bad but I think her acting was on point for the character demands

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Wait..what exactly are the connections between murder house and hotel?

They both primarily take place within the same time period (2010-2015) and in the same place (Los Angeles). The physical Murder House will be revisited in this season, it's confirmed. Also, the real estate agent from MH was in the premiere of Hotel reprising the same role.

Exactly.

I just can't get over how close to home Violet hit for me.

Oh of course! I didnt even clock that it was the same actress. Imagine if the hotel was built on the same plot as murder house or something

I could relate a lot with the relationship of Constance with her daughter but I'm not going to elaborate or else we are gonna get real off-topic :lana:

I would think they must be rather far away, considering the Murder House is in a much more suburban area and the Hotel is in the middle of the city.

"Till it happens to you you don't know how it feels" I never put judgement on how a s-xual abuse survivor feels and you should have compassion for them. I personally don't think the rape scene was important to the story or added any value to the episode.

it is SUPER IMPORTANT! people dont seem to get the metaphor behind it...i didnt even see it as a rape more than what Ryan intended it to be. Sally and the addiction demon are partners, and each one is one side of d--gs. Sally is the surreal "makes you feel good and calm" part, thats why she manages to calm down the victims, and the addiction demon is the destructive part of d--gs. once become an adict, you become submissive to d--gs because you wont be able to stop and it will eventually kill you (they demonstrated this literally in the show). as you can seem it is quite important to the show and i expect many more rape scenes and attacks from both sally and AD
