At least it's better than nothing at all, or suicide stories.It's probably the best thing to come out of the Kardashians. Coverage of a major, prevalent modern social issue. NO ONE is going to look at it that way. The story is about a rich teen girl who just named her rabbit. Period. Oh look... Personally, I'd be interested in the rabbit story. It's not just a dumb, irrelevant pet name; it's a tribute to the man she called her father. Someone in my family is transitioning, and let me tell you, it's SO confusing and complex and it encompasses ALL aspects of life, so hearing things like that makes me feel normal. There's a lot of media coverage pertaining to trans* issues atm, which I've been really grateful for, but they don't always report the little things. Everything matters. Her father was named the greatest American atlete of all time and yet that "super macho" was actually a woman the entire time inside. It's a great thing for the entire transgender community and her naming her bunny "Bruce" is a cute way of honouring the man her father used to be while still supporting the woman she is today. If some girl out there has a problem with one of her parents transitioning, wouldn't this be a comforting story? Even a teenage girl as rich and famous as Kylie has to deal with it and does something cute to soften the blow of "losing a parent" in a way. It can't be easy on her.A lot of you are just jumping on the hate bandwagon. Just like everyone did with Bieber, with Britney in 2007 and with god knows who else. We have so many forms of media and technology where we can spend our time on so many different things that we should never be unwillingly bombarded with a subject. I never hear about the Kardashians unless I want to hear about the Kardashians.I feel the same. I feel like I see people complaining about the Kardashians more than I see the Kardashians. There obviously is a market out there for them cause they're getting constant views. They aren't famous for no reason. They are famous because some people like watching other people live their life. That's why so many people are big on youtube. And tbh they're all kinda funny. I love seeing them as a family. And out of everything I respect them as smart ass business women. Even before KUWTK they were running two businesses. Socialites like the Kardashians have always existed. It's nothing new. They are no better or worse than your radio personalities or tv hosts. So just give it a break. You don't have to constantly hear about them. I rarely do. I watch their show and occasionally see their pictures on tumblr. Outside of that I hardly ever hear about them.
