oprahwinfrey 35
I think so... just because 1989's success will be immensely difficult to match. I think her next album will do well just not "1989 well".
Psychedelic 1,098
If people weren't stupid enough to continue to make a non-subtance artist's bank account bigger, I would say YES... But this is a sad world we live in! So NO!
VenusBlackStar 1,301
I hope not. Hopefully she won't pull a Black Eyed Peas and try to do the same thing and then not be nearly as successful with it (the followup to The E.N.D. kinda seemed like a bunch of E.N.D afterthoughts minus maybe like one or two songs). DiscoHeaven23 35,007
She'll be good. People are gunna be so hyped to see what she has coming next. Kinda like Adele (But Taylor's going to actually release a follow up album)She could have her Michael Jackson Thriller to Bad moment.
AbuHassan1992 766
why do people want to see other people fail? does it make them feel better about themselves if a hard working person fails?focus on yourselves instead
Economy 47,027
Girl, she's also big in other countries than US and Canada The Philippines is stanning hard for ha and Norway too i think he meant markets of any relevance to total sales*
Redstreak 6,653
Another day, another thread full of bitter Taylor comments :poordat: Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
FGGrayson 9,670
well, in the 90's Britney was the America's sweetheart, she was "invicible" & we all know how it everything endedAnd the country scene it's not the same as the pop scene, country fans are loyal & still buy music, pop fans are more disloyal, they're always looking for someone new to stan, they get bored & change their faves, so.. Taylor yet have to deal with that. Im not sure if her country fans will still buyin ha music 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 • 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗿 • 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻

GreenEyes 644
Why should we be asking that?why do people care so much seeing artists decline yet you guys complain about gaga declining and How that is all that people focus on? Christ this website is a f*cking mess oh and the best part is, Taylor has been totally sweet and nice to gaga. Gaga likes her too, so f*ck all of you cause Taylor slays every era single/album/tour wise. :)
Yves 1,891
NO ONE stays and slays FOREVER though. If so, show me the receipts. Y'all keep wanting her to go. What I meant was she has a big career ahead of her. Judging on her album sales and fans, she definitely has a career. I can't say the same to Katheryn others. Albums that are fueled by SEA & TEA. Also, that three consecutive 1+M selling albums are proof.

Whispering 18,865
1989: 8.6M not 9M isn't it?8.6 was the number reported by IFPI six months ago. 1989 is still consistently selling around 50,000 copies a week worldwide. 9 million is a very conservative underestimate.
