Kacey Elizabeth 900
Which has nothing to do with the fact that those two singles you mentioned were major hits and Wrecking Ball ended up being awarded the video of the year at the VMAs. They even are using her for an MC this year. Obviously, they respected Miley's work. We are talking about people's reaction to Miley's videos (which is what she was talking about at the first place), regardless of her getting nominated for and winning the Video of the Year MTV VMA award. Kayla 7,595
it's sad that nothing iconic has come out of such a massive era for taylor. It's interesting how that works. Like I seriously can't name one performance of Taylor's that really stands out or is iconic. She did have that one where it rained on stage or something...that one I really liked. Other than that...maybe her red lipstick?

Giorno Giovanna 3,178
Not people coming for a video with fantasy violence. What kind of baby-ass PBS Kids environment have y'all been living in? There are children playing first-person shooters. That's worse than them watching "Bad Blood" or anything else containing fantasy or slapstick violence. Miley's fake for not coming for "B*tch Better Have My Money" if she's so concerned about the glorification of violence. Miley's also fake for acting like she, without reservations, deserves to be considered a good role model when she lacks decorum and makes references to d--gs in her music. I do agree that breasts shouldn't be as vilified as they are in American society tho. #JusticeForJanet The parody video with Miley, Nicki, Beyoncé, Raven, and Taylor is slowly coming true. Gurl, what happened to you to become so immature and rude? you put things and words into her statement that she never said. 1st, She never said she was a good role model. Your fault for putting these words into her statement. 2nd, how come you expect her to have seen the video for BBHMM? she isn't forced to see it and she might haven't yet. But saying she is" fake" for using Bad Blood as an example instead of another more violent video ... *facepalm* your attitude is rude, ignorant and far from smart このジョルノジョヴァンナ夢がある

Kayla 7,595
Taylor is not really iconic for her performances and fashion. It's her music that's iconic. Even that is interesting, though. It's iconic because it's well-liked. But there isn't like...an extra flair, or social message, or ground-breaking technique, etc. It's not a bad thing, it's just an interesting thing. Fifty years from now, if someone said, "Who was Taylor Swift?" what could we really say other than "She made really catchy music about love and her look was always on fleek,"? Her music is well written pop that people easily connect to. People feel like they know Taylor because her music is like reading a diary. it's very personal, but you can still apply it to anyone. I think her "lack of shtick" is refreshing. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT
