socotra 3,357
Praying Bernie wins the Dem nomination. God, what a wonderful presidency he could potentially have. While I'm a feminist and I'm all about equality, I'm irritated that so many people are planning on voting for Hillary just to have a female president. Hillary is big money, she works with the corporations, she's another typical politician. I wouldn't be angry if she won the nomination, but I'd be disappointed because this country needs a revolutionary, not an evolutionary (quite literally, on most the issues she now supports). Bernie Sanders is authentic and real, modest and genuine, and intelligent. Moreover, I trust him. I think that's something that's often overlooked - can you trust whomever you're electing? Bernie has a fantastic track record, has (as far as I know) never been involved in a scandal, and is somebody who wants to get things done solely for the American people. That, and the fact that he's an overall superior candidate, gets overlooked by Hillary simply because she's a woman - which, in the scope of gender equality, is ironic.
